  When we began looking for a home with Carolina Realty of the Lowcountry, their agents took time to learn about us, our likes & dislikes, and our needs. Bill Hatcher & JoAnn Thaxton both took care of us. JoAnn Thaxton introduced herself to us, stating she has strong communication skills, but even stronger listening skills. She described herself as a supportive Realtor that consistently offers her knowledge to all her clients. Then she PROVED it all to us! She made sure to offer us her undivided attention, and also made sure others did the same. It is with great confidence that we can say JoAnn Thaxton sets the bar of service higher than any lenders, banks, attorneys, and other agents can even reach. JoAnn holds those who work with her to a level of professionalism that her customers grow to appreciate. She counseled us to change some services midway through the process, but we stayed true to our choices. We now wish we had listened to her, because we were so stressed at the end of our buying process, due to these servicers we kept in place. It was all due to the servicers of our choice dragging their feet and not communicating the way we felt they needed to communicate. If we had listened to JoAnn, it probably would have been a much smoother process with less stress and a happier feeling at the end. She also did things behind the scenes, unknown to us to make sure this home was not lost, and we obtained ownership. We know this now through our continued communications after moving in, and a year later. THAT is how dedicated Mrs. JoAnn Thaxton is! JoAnn Thaxton is a Realtor at the highest level NOT for the money, but because she LOVES her job! She is the teammate YOU NEED when shopping for your new home! And we know.   Joann made us very comfortable with the whole home buying process. We couldn't have asked for a better real estate agent for our very first time buying a home. She really went above and beyond helping us find the perfect house. Joann was very honest about the whole process and helped us weigh the pros and cons of houses to find one that we love.
